While I'm thinking about it, I'd love to have an actual logo for the site, and I will pay... something for one of you graphical minded people to design one for me. What I'm looking for is a pub sign. Something like this or this or this. Only, see, this is the Client and Server. So I'm looking for:
- A pub sign of decent size, but not huge. I mean, this will be a web site graphic. (Heck, if you could create one with vectored graphics I will be even happier.)
- It should say "The Client and Server."
- The image should be of two computers connected by a drop cable.
- And yes, this needs to look like someone painted it a hundred years or more before client-server protocols came into fashion.
It just occurred to me that I asked a bunch of photographers to attempt graphic design. This means I'll probably get exactly zero responses.
