The meme sensation that's sweeping the nation....
- I've been on a train that derailed because it hit a cow.
- I got badly lost in Maputo (that's in Mozambique) and only got unlost by blindly following a guy who knew only ~50 words of English... and where exactly it was I was trying to get to.
- I've eaten lamb fries (aka Rocky Mountain oysters, aka bull testicles) and I like them.
- I shook hands with Dick Cheney. No, it wasn't at a crossroads.
- I've seen the World's Largest Prairie Dog.
- I once set off the fire exit alarm at the National Firefighter's Hall of Fame. I thought it was an exhibit. Really.
- I've spent six hours in the Colorado Springs airport on a layover.
- I've had a Guinness in the Bird and Baby.
- I cut my foot open by stepping on a hoe.
- I saw the Feelies on their final tour.
Seven of the ten are travel-related. Huh.

I can't even begin to compete with that, except that I once shook hands with Richard Nixon. So I consider that equal, at least, to your Cheney, but I have no interest in competingt with the lamb fries, and I think being lost in east DC doesn't even compare with Maputo.

#1 Reminds me of being on a stopped Amtrak in the middle of the North Dakota prarie because of a white out, with unworkable, frozen toilets. There were probably a couple hundred people that shared the experience with me but I haven't met one since.
#3 The AGR fraternity at MSU (MT State) "fundraiser" TESTICLE FESTIVAL. (catchy isn't it?)

The train vs. cow incident was in Wales. There was a thud and then a lot of gravel. Train 1, Cow 0. The guard went through the train saying "I keep telling him to watch his cows and mend that fence, but no, this always happens" about a dozen times. Eventually they got another train and had us to the station 30 minutes late.
